Hannah and I finished before the rest of our group and here's our celebratory picture

Yea!  We did 3 miles!!!!

We spent the rest of Saturday afternoon at our friends house for a barbecue.

Scott played some basketball and tag frisby

Hayley got to swing from a tree

Holly ate lot's of watermelon, played on the slip and slide, jumped on the trampoline and ran wild with little people
Photobucket

There was so much to do I didn't even catch a picture of Hannah!

Mostly, Scott and I got to hang out with big people and have conversation that didn't consist of "Don't, Stop, Quit, No"

I woke up to breakfast in bed Sunday morning followed by a showering of gifts!!! Man, was that awesome!
Photobucket

Then we headed to the beach for some family fun with my Mom, Dave, Aunt Shell and kids.

Happy Mother's Day

My day was wonderful! Hayley woke up early and delivered breakfast in bed to me at 7am. Then Hannah and Holly woke up I was showered with homemade cards and pictures from all of them. They were so cute and thoughtful that I cried (happy tears) because I take motherhood very seriously. I am so honored that God has trusted me with the privilege of being their mom and raising them the best way I know how. Scott brought me coffee and then gave me a gift card from him and the girls to go shopping. We then packed up the car and headed to the beach. It was just perfect!

I am so proud to be their mom and I thank God for these 3 little blessings!

And on a lighter note...this is one of my favorite videos for moms! Enjoy!

Cinco de Mayo = Margaritas

Oh that's right people, we celebrate Cinco de Mayo!  Actually, it's just an excuse to drink a margarita...like we really need one! :)
We went to about 3 different Mexican restaurants and they were packed so we settled for Taco Cabana.  I really didn't mind...I like their street tacos and of course, frozen margaritas!

Trampoline Fun

Scott and I went round and round on getting the kids a trampoline. He thought they looked trashy in the yard and said he didn't want the kids getting hurt on it.  I didn't feel like he made a good enough argument, I mean he let the kids jump on other people's trampolines so why not buy one? So I did! I made sure to get one that had the netting around it and went over the rules before they jumped on it for the first time. They've done pretty good...even little Holly has to zip up the netting before she jumps or else she will tell everyone to stop jumping til it's closed. We've had it for a year now and while it's not the prettiest looking thing in our back yard, it has served it's purpose! To have fun! Don't let Scott fool you...I've caught him on it too!

Hey, I couldn't let the kids have all the fun!!!!

Easter

I am so bummed I didn't get many pictures of our day including a family pic but here's just a few. Holly was the first one up to see what the Easter Bunny brought her. Then Hannah came downstairs to see what she got. Hayley slept in so I didn't get her picture. We had plans to go to the park to meet Aunt Shell, Gran, Papa, Mimi & Grandpoppy. We ate yummy food, chased kids around, fed the ducks and fought the wind. It was a good day!
