First Day of School

I had so much fun with Hannah's shoot.  She wanted Chic Geek and I think it was accomplished!  We had fun finding props and different ideas to use for these pictures.  I feel so blessed to have girls that love to do these things.  My heart is happy and we get to photograph a memory as well!  

An Interview with Hannah

1.  What was your favorite memory from 5th grade?

My favorite memory was from the Daddy/Daughter Dance where Dad lip sanc to Justin Bieber's Baby song!

2.  What are you most looking forward to in 6th grade?

Beeing the oldest class at school and seeing my friends everyday.

3.  Current friends you like to hang out with?

Christina, Emma & Emily

4.  What was your favorite thing to do over the summer?

Going to modeling class!

5.  Current hobbies?

Designing clothes, reading, swimming, watching movies on my iPad.

6.  What I love most about my life right now is...

Having God in my life and following him.

Some words from Mom...

First of all, Hannah's answer to question 6 really makes me proud!  I love that she loves God and isn't afraid to tell anyone, write it on Facebook, or sing and dance at church.  This girl has a true pure heart and that's what makes her so beautiful!  I'm so grateful to have Hannah for so many reasons.  I love that she steps in to help out with Holly or whatver I may need, sometimes without me even having to ask.  She wears her heart on her sleeve and can't hide her feelings when she's upset.  I love that she always surrounds herself with good friends in her life.  And I love the fact that she is a good influence on her little sister.  I love that she is always humble with everything she does.  She reminds me of the song from One Direction called "She Don't Know She's Beautiful".  I can't imagine our lives without her!  

Day 29 of 30: 30 before Kinder

She has been waiting and waiting for this day!  Going to get a new Build-a-Bear is a real treat!  Of course, I left this to the very end because what a better way to end your summer than going to pick out a special friend!  How fun it is to watch her try to decide what animal to choose.  Once this cute bear was stuffed, she named her Snuggles.

1.  What was your favorite memory from 7th grade?

When I caught my pumpkin project on fire in Art class!

2.  What are you most looking forward to about 8th grade?

Catching another project on fire in Art class!  Just kidding, seeing my friends everyday.

3.  Current friends that you like to hang out with.

Kelly, Delaney, Marissa and Cassandra

4.  What was your favorite thing to do over the summer?

Sleep until noon everyday.

Acting, acting and acting

6.  What I love most about my life right now...

That I am surrounded and blessed with good people in my life.

Some words from Mom...

How is it that my first born child is now in 8th grade?  I know I ask myself this question every year expecting to get a different answer but it's always the same...she's growing up.  It's hard to grasp this sometimes because I remember holding that precious baby she once was and thinking of how she would look and act when she was older?  I remember it feeling like an eternity away but as I write, the tears fall with ease because it's now here.  How quickly that beautiful baby girl has turned into a beautiful young lady.  If you know this girl, then you know how funny she is.  I can say she honestly never takes herself too seriously.  She isn't afraid to laugh and doesn't really care what other people think.  She has so many qualities that I wish I could say I had.  I love how she wants to be with me (most of the time) and how she talks openly to me because she knows she can.  In fact, she talks non-stop and everyone knows she has to be the center of attention in our family. We all know this so we let her because we love her and are all so thankful she is in our lives!  How proud of her I am!

Freddy, Mr. Pig, Flower, Diamond and Princess are the names of her new pets.  Luckily, we found these guys in our backyard.  We washed them up and used them for our little project.  It was fun to watch her decide what she paint and what colors to use!

Everyone knows that Target is Holly's favorite store!  Like Mother, like Daughter!  When we were making her list of things to do before Kindergarten, we absolutely could not forget to go shop at Target's dollar section.  It makes this girl happy and her momma happy too without breaking the bank!
