Clearly...

How is it that taking pictures of these two can make me see them differently?  What I mean is...on a daily basis, I am with them; I talk to them; I listen to them; I hear them; I watch them; I see them...but only through my lens does it make me realize how much these two have grown and keep growing.  It's through the lens that makes me stop to reflect and just enjoy "moments" like these.  And right now in this moment, all I can think is "Wow"!  I look at this picture and they are so beautiful!  Not only do I see their eyes sparkling and their sweet smiles....I can see straight through to their hearts and that's a good view!  So is differently the correct word?  Perhaps, not!  I think clearly is more appropriate.   

Sweet Child O'Mine

Oh this sweet child o'mine...as Hayley and Hannah would say, "Don't let the cuteness fool you"!  At times this child can have all of us in the house wanting to pull our hair out...even the dogs!  She also has her moments of "sweetness" and I do all I can to remember the snuggles, hugs, kisses and smiles when they come because even though they seem like they are few and far between...one little ounce of "sweetness" from this kid forgives even the worst of days!

Mother's Day 2012

Happy Friday!

Dear Family...

I know you always find it difficult to please me and I'm sorry for that but really...I'm not that difficult to please...honest, I'm not.  I thought I might give you an idea of how you can make my Mother's Day a great one without a lot of hassle.

Flowers, especially Peonies (my favorite), are always appreciated!

A trip to the beach would be great! Specifically, this beach.

Laguna Beach

This umbrella would sure come in handy for sitting on the beach!

And you know I'm gonna want to eat something while we're there....so this would be the perfect place!

Where I'll order these!!!!

Because I don't want anything to do with these....

And in case you're wondering what I would like for dessert...

It would be great if I could do this without whining or complaining!

I wouldn't mind if you printed this all over the house either!

Of course, gifts like these would not be declined either, but not expected!

Mothers are great at giving advice...just trying to do my part! LOL!
