Hannah celebrated her 12th birthday on Sunday but her party was on Saturday night. Months before, yes I said months before we had planned out this party. Since her school mascot are the owls...she wanted to have a "night owl party" for her and her friends. I had gotten an idea from another blog over at Snowybliss and she actually sells the cutest little owl pattern. So we bought it and got to work on it. We went to JoAnn Fabrics weekly and collected all the different colored felt and all the other items needed to finish the owls. Thanks to all the many hands that had a part of these little guys like Grandma...she helped sew and even bought me a sewing machine without which - these owls may not have been possible! Also, Gran had a job to do when she came to visit as well. Not to mention my other 3 little helpers that couldn't wait to see how they all would turn out! Take a look for yourself...I think they came out so cute and Hannah and her friends loved them!
We started the planning process with this invitation.
Then lot's of sweat, blood and tears went into making these cuties over the past couple of months. They were all wrapped when the guests arrived because we wanted each girl to unwrap it and see which owl they got. Each owl was different: Sweet Tooth Owl, Sunshine Owl, Crafty Owl, Wise Owl, Giggle Owl, Dancing Owl, Dream Owl, Dress Up Owl, Musical Owl, Snuggle Owl, Snowy Owl, Garden Owl and Princess Owl.
After the guests arrived, they got to eat at our pancake buffet.
We wrapped all the owls and numbered them 1 -15 and had each of the girls pick a number. Hannah opened her gift and she got Sweet Tooth Owl.
This girly was so excited all day...she couldn't wait to find out which owl she would get! And it wasn't even her birthday!
Then it was time to go swimming!
And then we had some birthday cake
With this Fabulous Birthday Girl!!!
All the girls went home at 9pm and it looks like a good time was had by the looks of this room!!!!
Happy Birthday to the sweetest girl I know!!!!! We love you!
